24. COVID-19 measures: Testing and face masks

Testing - As of October 2022, all COVID-19 travel restrictions for travellers to Spain have been lifted. However, if you are travelling from the conference to a country that still requires proof of COVID-19 status, a testing facility will be available on the ground floor of the CCIB on Thursday 1 December from 12:30 – 14:30 and Friday 2 December from 08:00 – 10:00. These facilities will provide test results in 24-hours.

Please note there is a charge of €38 for an antigen test and of €78 for a PCR test, payable to the testing company onsite. (This is a transaction between you and the testing company. PRI takes no money for this service).

Face masks - It is not mandatory for face coverings to be worn at the conference and is entirely left to personal preference. However, face coverings must still be worn on public transport in Spain, such as on buses, planes, taxis, metro carriages and trains.

Please ensure you bring your own facemask to Barcelona to wear on public transport.
