1. Event code of conduct
All attendees at State of the Art 2021 are asked to read the event code of conduct. We ask that all attendees abide by the code of conduct to help create a safe and welcoming environment for everybody.
2. What if I have forgotten my password, cannot find it, or would like to update it?
You will find your password in your invitation email. If you are unable to locate your password, please click "Log in | register" in the top right-hand corner of the website and then click "Forgotten password" on the next page. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
3. What should I do if the page is not responding when I try to login?
If you are currently using Internet Explorer, please try to log in from Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. If you continue to have problems logging in or are already using one of the suggested browsers, please email the team.
4. Will I still be able to view the webinar after the event if I am unable to attend on the day?
The live sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging and will allow for plenty of opportunities to interact with the speakers, take part in polling activities and submit your questions during the sessions.

6. How do I access the virtual event?
On the day of the event, log in and select the ‘Watch live’ tab. The stream will start 30 minutes before the first session.
7. How do I test my connection?
We recommend that you use wired headphones for the best viewing experience and have a stable connection. For further details, please read the technical support guide.
8. Where can I see the event programme?
The full programme can be viewed on the programme page. You can build a personal event schedule for each day by clicking on the star icon next to each session.
9. What happens if I can’t make it on the day?
Just because you can’t join us live doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the content. All streams will be recorded meaning you can watch them back after the conference in your own time. You will have access to recordings 6 months post conference.
10. How to use Sli.do during the live event days
Sli.do is positioned on the Watch Live page to the right of each stream. When you land on each stream, you will be required to enter your name and email address into Sli.do. You will then be able to see three different tabs; Q&A, Live Chat and Polls.
Live Chat is a function where you can interact with your fellow participants during the live stream.
Q&A function will allow you to ask speakers questions and up-vote questions.
Polls function will allow you to vote on various topics presented during the live stream.
11. CPD at State of the Art 2021
This conference has been awarded accreditation from the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA). You will be able to download your CPD certificate from your log in of the OAA website post conference. Please log in using your member or non-member details, and visit ‘My course bookings’ within the menu.
12. Refunds/cancellations
In the event you are unable to attend the live days and do not want to access the recordings of the sessions post event (you will have access for 6 months) we will be able to cancel your access to the conference and offer a refund minus a £20 administration charge up until 17 November 2021. Please provide written notice of your cancellation to [email protected]
