1. What if I forget my password, cannot find it, or would like to update it?

If you are unable to recall your password, please visit the conference website and select log in in the top right-hand corner of the page. From there you can click "Forgotten password". You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

2. How do I access the virtual event?

On the day of the event, log in here and select the ‘Watch live’tab. The stream will start 30 minutes before the first session.

3. How do I test my connection?

For the best viewing experience, we would recommend using headphones and watching over a stable internet connection. For details on technical support, please read our guide by clicking here.

4. Will I be able to ask questions and communicate with the speakers?

Yes. This year we will be using Slido.

5. What if I want to share this event with a colleague?

If you would like to nominate a colleague to attend, please ask them to register here.

6. Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?

For every paid registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.

7. What if I am not available to attend?

The content will be available on-demand for three months following the conference date, for all registered participants.

8. How do I claim CPD credits?

The CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation. You will receive a link in an email after the conference.

9. How do I get involved in the Networking page?

Make sure to opt in by ticking the relevant box during registration to appear on the Networking page. You will also have the opportunity to add a mini bio and photo during registration. Click here to access the Networking page

10. How do I receive my Certificate of Attendance?

After the virtual conference ends please email [email protected] to request your certificate. Please state in your email which accrediting board you require the certificate for.

11. How will I earn accreditation?

Many Accrediting Bodies are self certifiable for webinars and virtual conferences. These include:
Law Society of England & Wales, Bar of England & Wales, NASBA, CAIRP AND RITANZ We regret that we cannot allocate CPD points for accreditation with the Hong Kong Law Society or the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE). SILE has provided the following statement should you wish to self-certify the Virtual Conference: “Pre-recorded videos of the conference may be eligible for Private CPD Points under the Guidelines on the Continuing Professional Development Scheme 2017. This is an honour-based, self-assessment process on the part of the lawyer. It will be their individual obligation to satisfy themselves that the activity satisfies the applicable criteria under the CPD Rules and the Guidelines”

13. Am I able to create my own group?

Yes, if you click on the menu bar and then select the group button at the bottom of the chat function, you will be able to create your own group select the pen in the top right hand corner. The chat can be set to private, public or password protected

14. What can I use the chat function for?

You can chat to likeminded individuals, the organisation team, speakers and sponsors or exhibitors, as well as collaborating on documents, using a whiteboard, sending documents. You can also use this to have video and voice calls with groups or individuals.

15. Can I video call?

Yes, if you select the video icon at the top of the chat it will initiate a video call with up to 15 attendees. If you are already on a group call and you add another attendee, then they will see a 'join call' option in the chat.
