The DBS helps employers make safer recruitment decisions each year by processing and issuing DBS checks for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. DBS also maintains the adults’ and children’s Barred Lists and makes considered decisions as to whether an individual should be included on one or both of these lists and barred from engaging in regulated activity. 

As an organisation that puts safeguarding at the heart of everything it does, we understand how important safeguarding is in the workplace and community and the Conference will bring together experts in safeguarding to share their experiences and best practice. 

We will hear from the Safeguarding Minister, Sarah Dines, MP and the Chairman and Chief Executive of DBS.  We will also hear from other exciting keynote speakers – please keep an eye on this page for details.  We have lots of interesting and varied workshops for delegates to choose from too, please do signup and also keep checking back for more that will be added.
