Safeguarding in your workplace and community: Working together to protect the vulnerable

This conference hosted by the DBS aims to shine a light on the challenges and dilemmas of protecting children and vulnerable people in workplace and voluntary sector settings. 
It will explore how safeguarding partners can contribute to safer recruitment practices before, during and post recruitment and will focus on the necessary responses when abuse is suspected and disclosed.
This conference is aimed at all professionals working with or for vulnerable groups including HR professionals and safeguarding partners from:
NHS and other healthcare settings
Universities and Colleges
Local Authority
Our expert workshops will include:

- Working through the maze of eligibility, regulated activity and DBS referral
- Safeguarding in Sport – Good practice and how apply it
- Volunteers and charities – A focus on safeguarding
- Safeguarding in care settings –good practice and how apply it

Conference fees are:
- £195.00 (excluding VAT) – delegate fee
- £145.00 (excluding VAT) – reduced fee for Registered Charities and Not for Profit Organisations
