CWD 2023

A quarter of a century of CWD conferences!

The Chemical Weapons Demilitarisation (CWD) Conference has turned 25 and we are pleased to invite delegates to London in May 2023, after the successful return of our in-person conference in September 2022.
Despite the enormous progress made in disposing of state stockpiles, there is a continued need for chemical weapons destruction policies, plans and capabilities. CWD is the primary international forum for discussing this need, sharing information and making valuable professional contacts in this field.
The CWD Conference is organised by Dstl, the science inside UK defence and security, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, to promote cooperation and collaboration in achieving a future free from chemical weapons.
Help us to demonstrate a shared commitment to eliminating this class of WMD, and discover ways we can overcome the challenges associated with their destruction. Join our community now!
