British Laryngological Association Conference

British Laryngological Association Annual Conference 2017
The Royal Society of Medicine - Friday 29 September 2017

Dear Colleagues,

I look forward to welcoming you to the 2017 Annual Conference of the British Laryngological Association, which this year is being held at the Royal Society of Medicine.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the theme of this year’s meeting as "The larynx - young and old".

This one-day conference will cover laryngological issues that principally affect the extremes of age. The morning sessions will cover paediatric voice, airway and swallowing disorders and the afternoon sessions, laryngological issues that predominantly affect an ever ageing population. There will be talks and panel discussions from inspiring leaders in their respective fields, including talks on paediatric voice and swallowing disorders, presbylaryngis, management of the voice in movement disorders, pharyngeal pouch and dysphagia in the elderly.

This year’s conference promises to be another BLA premier event not to be missed.

Best Wishes
Martin Birchall
