Welcome to the Army Warfighting Experiment: Urban Series 2022-24, Sustain & Protect Exploitation Event. 

The Army Warfighting Experiment (AWE): Urban Series 2022-24 seeks to collaborate the Army with subject matter experts to experiment with cutting and bleeding-edge technologies, focusing on how elements of the Army can be optimised for future complex urban operations.

As a result, 2022 saw a successful urban experiment undertaken at HMNB Portsmouth, examining how a Brigade (and below) force could Sustain & Protect itself within an urban environment. 

This Exploitation Event seeks to highlight the lessons learnt from the AWE: Sustain & Protect to enable mission success: the optimisation of the British Army for future urban warfare.
