The GFF Conference 2022 is now over, it was an engaging two-day event where delegates had an opportunity to interact with finance colleagues from across government and the wider function, listen to and participate in thought-provoking sessions, and hear from people of all grades about their experiences. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed.
 
Taking place at Manchester Central and virtually on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 June, our sessions ran across a range of exciting new formats and shared best practice examples, knowledge and expertise with our in-person and virtual audience. Building on the success of Conference 2020 and our virtual symposiums throughout 2021, Conference 2022 combined the best of both worlds. Conference 2022 gave delegates the opportunity to share best practices and network in our dedicated community square, that at times was standing room only! It was an opportunity to learn about the new GFF Strategy, and the future direction of the function, whilst hearing from senior members of the Government Finance Function about the challenges and opportunities which lie ahead. Together as one community 1800 colleagues celebrated our success, learnt new skills, networked and challenged our ways of thinking across two engaging days, with over 400 delegates attending from home or from offices across the UK and beyond.
