Rehabilitation of Offenders - balancing safeguarding with individuals rights to rehabilitation

Presented by Laura Whapman (NSPCC) and Cathy Taylor (DBS Partnerships Team) Join representatives from the DBS and NSPCC who will help you think about risk factors when recruiting and how they impact on an individual’s suitability to carry out a role. This workshop will recognise the importance of safer recruitment, background checking best practice and the relevance of disclosed information.
