EY Global Indirect Tax Symposium 2019
I am delighted to invite you to EY’s 14th annual Global Indirect Tax Symposium. Please join us in London from Wednesday, 3 April to Friday, 5 April 2019 to discuss current indirect tax issues, to hear from our guest speakers, to engage with colleagues and fellow indirect tax executives, and to have your important questions answered by EY’s global indirect tax professionals.
Our presenters include EY indirect tax subject matter professionals from around the world and I am pleased to present our guest speakers:
• Ping Liu, Director, Tariff and Trade Affairs Directorate, World Customs Organization
• Prof. Dr. Marie Lamensch, Research Professor of International and European Tax Law at the Institute for European Studies and the Law Faculty of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel
• Pernilla Rendahl, LL.D., Associate Professor in Tax Law, School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University, Sweden
• Prof. Dr. Walter de Wit, Professor of International and European Customs Law, Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus University Rotterdam and EY Customs and International Trade
Over two days, technical discussions will include two major plenary sessions and a series of interactive breakout sessions and workshops.
This year we are grouping these sessions into four main topic areas that we are calling neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood offers a selection of detailed technical sessions and interactive workshops, based around the neighbourhoods main focus. Our neighbourhoods cover:
- Digital;
- Global Trade;
- VAT, GST and Sales Taxes; and
- Financial Services.
Registration closes on Friday, 29 March 2019, so please confirm your participation at your earliest convenience.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special event!
